We took a weekend trip to Florence by train. Ella and Andrew did remarkably well walking everywhere and waiting for trains. It was amazing how much we were able to see in just a day and one-half!
The Cathedral
This medieval bridge, Ponte Vecchio, dates back to 1345 and is lined with extravagant jewelry shops (and people)! It is the most popular and oldest of the bridges here.
Il Duomo, the cathedral again. Have you noticed my stylish shoes? I didn't quite fit in with Italian fashion, but I sure felt comfortable and less sore!
Andrew and Ella loved seeing two things in Florence: the pigeons (they loved chasing and feeding) and all the graffiti (unfortunately).
